Memorable Moments from 2023

Happy New Year! The last year on the farm brought many milestones and memorable events. Here’s a recap of our favorite moments from 2023:


We harvested 30,282 pounds of food for our community in 2023! This is an increase of 15% over what we were able to do in 2022 despite record breaking summer heat. 

Our flock started laying a rainbow of eggs. They provided us with enough eggs to begin offering a limited amount for our Veggie Share members. 

We hosted our first public pizza night on the farm. We had so much fun coming up with the farm-to-table flavors and cranking out some truly delicious woodfired pies. We’ll be hosting a similar event later this year so stay tuned! 

A public share option was added to our Veggie Share Program for the first time ever! This allowed us to expand our reach into the community and meet so many new veggie lovers. 

We expanded our growing space with three new caterpillar tunnels. These tunnels allowed us to grow moisture and cold sensitive crops this winter like sugar snap peas and spinach. In the spring, we’ll be able to use them to get a leg up on crops like tomatoes, peppers, and cucumbers.

With the help of our community, we planted 60 fig trees in the brand new fig orchard. If you weren’t able to join us, you’ll have an opportunity this spring as we plant the remaining half of the orchard!

Currently in Season at the Farm Stand: Broccoli, Cauliflower, Brussels Sprouts, Cabbage, Napa Cabbage, Carrots, Salad Turnips, Beets, Fennel, Scallions, Salad Mix, Kale, Collards, Swiss Chard, Red Butterhead Lettuce, Mustard Greens, Chicory, Dill, Parsley, and Cilantro.
