Unique Farm Club Harvests

As it begins to truly feel like Fall on the farm, our Farm Club members are hauling in interesting harvests! To remind him of home in Vietnam, Farmer Ky's demonstration garden is filled with tastes of the tropics and this week he harvested stalks of sugarcane measuring over six feet tall! Over the years, Farm Club has become a melting pot of hundreds of different types of vegetable varieties with origins from around the world.

As an experienced Farm Club member, Maritess, enjoys experimenting with new types of veggies for their unique health benefits and added beauty! This year she grew sunchokes and turmeric, which is now in full bloom and ready for harvest. The community Farm Club events, especially pizza nights, are another favorite activity for Maritess and her family! This year we are opening up our annual Spooky Pizza Night and Scarecrow Contest to Friends of the Farm - sign up now to reserve your spot for this special night under the stars!
