Vendor of the Month : Little Thicket Farm

Meet your producers at Little Thicket Farm! The Chaturvedi Family began their farming journey in 2023 on a heavily wooden piece of land with a full pond at the focal point. The family values nature's beauty and desires to steward the land by respecting the natural ecology around them. Over time, they have incorporated laying hens and broiler chickens to their operation which play a key role in managing the land. To ensure a no-waste process, The Little Thicket has also started selling bone broth as well as herbal teas foraged on the land. Visit them at the Harvest Green Farmers Market this month!
Crop of the Month : Green Bell Peppers

In a season of waiting for Fall crops to mature, and enjoying the last bit of summer veg - this month's crop in abundance is Green Bell Peppers! This classic and simple vegetable is very versatile in the kitchen and productive on the vine. Farmer Anna has made a routine of preparing Green Pepper salads as she waits for the first batch of arugula and salad greens!
