September 4th, 2026 New veggies are only a few weeks away from harvest! Radishes are just beginning to bulb up and arugula is growing quickly in these last warm summer days. The first round of scallions and carrots have also just germinated in the high tunnel! Stay tuned as these Fall vegetable offerings are released first in the Vegetable Share soon! July 4th, 2026 This week our new flock of chickens surprised us with the first batch of eggs! These young hens are still maturing so the size of their eggs is quite small, as several can fit in the palm of a hand. The summer season is also a time of slower egg production as chickens redirect their energy from egg laying to cooling off their bodies. We are excited to introduce eggs into the Vegetable Share later this year - so stay tuned for updates as egg size and production
