We’re gearing up for our annual Fall Kickoff at the Farmers Market this Saturday, October 18th! This autumnal celebration is packed with fun activities for the whole family like face painting, a football throwing challenge, and the opportunity to hang out with some of our goats and chickens. In case you missed it last weekend, you’ll have the opportunity to snap a few photos with our vintage tractor and plenty of pumpkins. While you’re at the Kickoff, make sure to head over to the bridge at 10am for our monthly Farm Tour! You can sign up here to snag a spot. This event is open to the public, free to attend, and takes place during our weekly Farmers Market from 9am-1pm. We hope to see you there!

Please join us in welcoming Anna to the Farm Team! Anna’s love for growing veggies began in her parents’ backyard in high school with a few tomato plants. While working for an online education company, she decided to pivot to farming last year and spent the summer on farms in Ohio, New York, and Maine. Anna finds farming grounding and uplifting and loves the taste of freshly-harvested food. She is excited to work alongside the Farm Team and meet all of you at the Farm Stand. Make sure to say hello when you see her around the farm and Farmers Market!

‘Tis the season for leafy greens! In addition to the Asian greens and collard greens we started harvesting over the last couple of weeks, we now have curly kale, mustard greens, arugula, and a braising greens mix back in season! Most of these leafy greens are super versatile and can be easily incorporated into soups, stews, and salads. Not sure which one to pick? Come out to the Farm Stand on Saturdays from 9am-1pm and ask us! We’re always happy to share our favorite ways to eat the produce that we harvest.
