November Farmers Markets

We hope you are faring well and have been enjoying the cooler weather. Due to the Thanksgiving holiday, our schedule will be slightly amended this month. Here are the market dates for November: Saturday, November 1st, 8th, 15th, and 22nd from 9am-1pm. Please note that there is not a market on the 29th. 

Here's what you can find at the Farm Stand this weekend: Radishes, Roselle Pods, Arugula, Collard Greens, Komatsuna, Pac Choi, Tokyo Bekana, Tatsoi, Winged Beans, Peppers (banana, jalapeno, picnic, and bell), Sweet Potatoes, Bitter Melon, Mustard Greens, Curly Kale, Dino Kale, and Hakurei Turnips.

Special Event: Thanksgiving Holiday Market on Tuesday, November 25th from 5-8pm

Join us at The Farmhouse (3400 Harvest Corner Drive) the Tuesday before Thanksgiving to shop for all of the holiday essentials at our Veggie Stand and local artisanal vendor booths! And, feel free to grab dinner while you shop at an onsite food truck! The market and food truck will be open from 5pm-8pm for all to enjoy!

Crop of the Month: Kale

Beloved cool season leafy green kale is back in season! We are currently harvesting both curly and dino varieties and will be planting a cold hardy White Russian variety soon. Kale is super versatile and can be enjoyed both raw and cooked. Here are some recipes to lend culinary inspiration:
