Spooky Season and Scarecrows at Village Farm
October 30th, 2026

As scarecrows are busy keeping guard over our Farm Club gardens, we are busy preparing for our spooky stacked week on the farm! This Friday, October 30th, Farm Club, Veggie Share, and Friends of the Farm members will gather for our Annual Spooky Pizza Night full of fun activities like a scarecrow competition and costume contest! After a night under the stars enjoying wood-fired pizza, skip the tricks and come for treats at our Spooky Farmers Market on Saturday! Enter the market costume contest at 11am for a chance to win fun prizes and leave with a free Halloween gift courtesy of the Harvest Green Lifestyle Team!

Fresh veggies from the farm add some spookiness to our specialty pizzas, and can also add a spark to your home's Halloween dinner and parties! Pick up our small red radishes or bright white salad turnips to create an edible eye-ball dish sure to trick your kids into eating a healthy serving of veggies! Complement these lite bites with a Haunted Hibiscus Punch using fresh pods from the farm. Pick up these veggies at the Farmers Market this Saturday to begin this festive culinary tradition with your family!

If you have been craving a farm experience during the beautiful Fall season, our Annual Fig Orchard Beautification Day is the perfect opportunity to meet your neighbors, work alongside farmers, and get your hands dirty for the morning! RSVP here and meet us at the fig orchard on Saturday, November 5th from 9am - 12pm to weed, mulch, and share a little TLC with our fig trees - all materials and refreshments will be provided! If you're interested in a more consistent volunteer opportunity, we would love to have your help on the farm during weekday harvests, field tasks, and special projects. Email harvestgreen@agmenity.com to schedule your volunteer orientation today!
