Spring Kickoff and Farm Club Plots Open

Flowering plants and budding trees are shouting for Spring - and so are we at Village Farm! Join us on March 14th from 9am - 1pm to celebrate our Annual Spring Kickoff at the Farmers Market, featuring a special visit from the farm goats! Kiddos can play games and explore the market maze, while adults browse a selection of farm-grown Spring plants and stock up on local goods, including organic seasonal veggies. This is our largest sale of vegetable plants for backyard gardening with varieties that have been organically grown here at Village Farm. Plants available for purchase include tomatoes, peppers, eggplant, cucumbers, squash, and even watermelon!

If you are craving a deeper connection to growing food, we have a Farm Club plot waiting just for you! Spring is an opportune time to join Farm Club as members have access to many complementary Spring vegetable plants that are ready to be transferred to plots! We also have social events planned this season like farm-to-table breakfasts and pizza nights at the wood-fired oven. Maritess, an extraordinary gardener and Farm Club member, is in her happy place during the early morning and late evening while tending to her plot.

Spots are filling up fast for our Spring Break Day Camp, so be sure to sign up soon for this exciting outdoor experience! Farmer Anna, also a trained artist, will be taking campers on a journey of ‘Drawing From Life’ on the farm and we will finish the day with a delicious meal prepared with a chef from Cook Learn Grow! Campers will also get to plant and harvest vegetables, help feed veggie snacks to the farm goats, and much more!
