Wood-Fired Pizza Night Recap and Farm Events this Weekend

May 25th, 2023

We had such a blast at our Wood-Fired Pizza Night last week! We loved making and serving delicious farm-to-table pizzas to everyone that attended. And, it provided Farmer Nick the perfect opportunity to brush up on his dough tossing skills!

Though we get to enjoy the beauty of the farm every day, there’s nothing that makes us happier than being able to share the space with our community. Seeing everyone connecting over food and lively conversations on our event lawn was truly the cherry on top of a great event. If you were able to join us, we hope you enjoyed it as much as we did!

If you weren’t able to make it out, there are two opportunities to enjoy the farm this coming weekend. On Saturday, May 27th during our Farmers Market, the Harvest Green Lifestyle Team will be hosting their Wild About Summer event. From 10am to 1pm, you can meet a variety of furry and scaly creatures, including friendly farm animals and fascinating reptiles. You'll have the chance to get up close and personal with them, learn about their habitats and behaviors, and maybe even pet them if you're feeling brave! This event is open to the public and free of charge.

On Sunday, May 28th from 1:30-2pm, you have the opportunity to join us for our monthly Meet the Farm Tour. These tours provide the opportunity to learn what vegetables are currently in season – complete with tasting samples! This month we’ll explore all of our different tomato and pepper varieties and discuss what’s coming up on the harvesting horizon. Our tours are open to the public and free of charge. We just ask that you sign up here in advance!

  • Farmers Markets this month: Saturday May 6th, 13th, 20th, and 27th from 9am-1pm

  • Meet the Farm Tour on Sunday, May 28th from 1:30-2pm (sign up -here!)
