Harvest Green Farmers Market takes place every Saturday from 9am - 1pm, dates for this month include : April 4th, 11th, 18th, 25th
This month our Spring season veggies will be coming into season, with new varieties ripening each week like cucumbers, tomatoes, squash, peppers and eggplant!
Expected Produce in April
Slicing Cucumbers, Tomatoes, Basil, Zucchini, Summer Squash, Lettuce, Dill, Parsley, Carrots, Fennel, Scallions, Spring Onions, Celery, Kale, Chard, Collards, Celeriac, Chicory, and Beets

April Events at Village Farm
Spring Around the Green (resident only) : April 4th from 2pm - 5pm
Stroll through the farm and visit a variety of local vendors with fun giveaways, games, and Spring surprises! Photo booths, air brush artists, and sweet treats will be available all afternoon for a fun family outing at Village Farm!
Dog Day at the Farmers Market : April 18th from 9am - 1pm
Bring your four-legged friend for a fun market morning with other dog lovers! Browse a wide selection of local pet suppliers with treats and accessories, along with farm fresh organic produce and our local vendors! Be sure your pup is leased, and feel free to let them loose at the dog park located right next to Village Farm!
Pizza and Movie Night on the Farm : April 24th from 5pm - 8pm
Join us at Village Farm for wood-fired pizza topped with fresh veggies from the farm! The newest Superman movie will be shown on an LED screen for great viewing on a Spring evening outdoors! We will begin cooking pizzas at 5pm and pickup orders are welcome if you are unable to stay for the movie!
Spring Farm Tour : April 25th from 10am - 11am
Take a journey from seed to harvest during the beautiful Spring season at Village Farm! Participants will taste test new in-season vegetables like tomatoes and cucumbers, and have a chance to visit the new flock of Harvest Green chickens!
Crop of the Month : Cucumbers
Our first Spring harvest of the year - slicing cucumbers - are producing in large quantities and will be available at the market through the summer season! These cucumbers are an excellent pair to fresh lettuce currently in-season and will be a tasty complement to cherry tomatoes once they hit the Farmers Market! If you are looking for culinary inspiration, the recipes below are great ways to use cucumbers with other in-season veggies from the farm :
