Our mild climate and year-round growing season allows us to grow and harvest a wide variety of crops throughout the cooler months. Interested in growing your own at home? Join us for our Seasonal Gardening Series on the farm this Friday, October 3rd, from 6-7pm! We’ll teach you which varieties you can grow this time of the year and how to plan your garden space. Participants will take part in a hands-on activity during the class and will receive gardening resources to take home. This class is open to the public and tickets are $15 for non-residents, $10 for Harvest Green residents, and free for current Farm Club members. Tickets can be purchased here. We hope to see you there!Â

We invite you to help us kick off the fall growing season at our annual Fall Kickoff at the Farmers Market on Saturday, October 18th, from 9am-1pm! We’ll have several fall crops to choose from at the Farm Stand and you’ll be able to shop the local goods from our market vendors. There will be plenty of family friendly activities including visits with our goats and chickens, a football inflatable, and prizes. You’ll also have the opportunity to take a short trek over the bridge for a Farm Tour from 10-11am to see what we have growing for fall and winter. This event is open to the public and free to attend. We’re looking forward to celebrating fall’s arrival with you!Â

There are Farm Club plots available and the fall season is a fantastic time to start gardening! If you’re a Harvest Green resident and are interested in the opportunity to grow your own food on a designated plot on the farm with the guidance of our Farm Educators, we highly recommend joining Farm Club. In addition to being provided with all of the tools and supplies needed to get growing, Farm Club membership includes special perks like free attendance to our Seasonal Gardening Series this Friday or exclusive member events like our Fourth Annual Spooky Pizza Night and Scarecrow contest later this month. Head here to learn more and submit an application or reach out to us at HarvestGreen@Agmenity.com with any questions you may have.Â
