Kick off summer vacation with fun on the farm during the Village Farm Tour this Saturday from 10am - 11am! Taste cherry tomatoes fresh off the vine, explore the watermelon and flower patch, and of course visit the goats and chickens! After the tour, be sure to browse our farmers market vendors for local goods like farm fresh eggs, sourdough bread, honey, and our wide selection of organic vegetables.

For those who have been enjoying our fresh tomatoes this season, the fun continues with our first harvest of roma tomatoes! This variety is dense and less juicy making it perfect for fresh tomato sauce. Stay tuned for updates on bulk roma tomato boxes that are great for canning and freezing! This week we also harvested most of our butternut squash and have set it to cure in the greenhouse. This process helps the fruit develop a thick skin allowing for extended storage potential throughout the summer and fall seasons.

Spots are now open for our Village Farm Flower Patch U-Pick on June 13th from 10am - 12pm! Spend the morning on the farm harvesting your favorite flowers from the patch to arrange in a beautiful bouquet! Farmer Alyssa will be on site to guide you through the harvesting process and help arrange bouquets if needed. Don't miss out on this last flower event of the season!
