The new Superman movie will be showing as we enjoy wood-fired pizza made-to-order and cooked with love by our very own farmers! April 10th, 2026 Although we have just tasted the first fruits of Spring, preparations are already underway for the summer season. This week we are adding compost and fertilizer to bed tops that will house our first wave of summer crops like long beans, luffa, okra, and bitter melon! These veggies won’t start producing until the end of May, but it’s important to start these plants now so they can thrive in optimal conditions of Spring before the true heat of summer sets in! I

March 13th, 2026 Spring is here and we are celebrating at Village Farm with a couple of special events! This Saturday, March 14th, join us for our Spring Kickoff at the Farmers Market from 9am - 1pm to enjoy games, local shopping, and more! Then on March 20th, live a day in the life of a farmer at Village Farm’s Spring Break Day Camp! January 22nd, 2026 Last year at this time Village Farm was covered in a blanket of snow, and this week we find ourselves hustling in preparation for yet another timely winter storm! Our days this week are spent bulk harvesting storage crops, anchoring down frost cloth, supplementing hay and food for farm animals, and seeding in abundance for post-freeze planting.
