Spring Events at Village Farm

Come with an appetite and join us on the farm for Pizza and Movie Night on April 24th from 5pm - 8pm! The new Superman movie will be shown on an LED screen for evening time viewing, with a beautiful landscape of our blooming flower patch and Spring veggies in the background! Fresh wood-fired pizza will be topped with seasonal vegetables grown on the farm and will be available to purchase beginning at 5pm and until supplies last. If you are unable to stay for the movie, we also offer take-home pizza boxes! This event is open to the public so please invite friends, family and neighbors!

This week our Vegetable Share members enjoyed first dibs on the slicing tomatoes that have just ripened on the vine! During the Spring season, our weekly veggie boxes offer an incredibly diverse variety of vegetables including items like cucumbers, carrots, beets, onions, celery, lettuce, herbs and more! Our snacking cucumbers have also just come into season, which are a favorite snack option for busy families. Their delicate skin, mild flavor and satisfying crunch is a great alternative to chips or crackers!

Be sure to join us this Saturday for Dog Day at the Farmers Market from 9am - 1pm! Bring your leashed pup and take a walk through the market, farm, and dog park with other dog lovers! Shop an expansive lineup of local pet vendors, along with our weekly goods like sourdough bread, honey, and our newest egg vendor! Arrive early to claim a pint of Village Farm cherry tomatoes as they sell out fast!
