April 2nd, 2026 This week our new flock of chickens arrived at their home at Harvest Green! These egg-laying hens are just five weeks old and a variety of different breeds like the traditional Rhode Island Red and more exotic Starlight Green Egger! Once the chickens begin laying this Fall, the egg cartons will be a colorful combination as the egg shell’s pigment is determined by the breed and genes of each hen.
