The true abundance of Spring is peaking with more new crops added to the Vegetable Share and Farmers Market stand! This week we are harvesting our first tromboncino squash, an Italian heirloom variety touting a long neck great for roasting or grilling! The first hot chilies are also back on the menu and sold in half-pint containers for ease of cooking with small batches. These Cayenne peppers are long, vibrant red, and definitely pack a punch!

This Saturday, May 23rd, marks our first Friends of the Farm perk pick-up at the Harvest Green Farmers Market from 9am - 1pm! If you recently signed up to be a member in the new Friends of the Farm program, feel free to stop by during market hours to pick up your personal flower bouquet. Signups are ongoing and those who become members within the month of May will receive this first farm perk! Check out more details about Friends of the Farm here and reach out to harvestgreen@agmenity.com with additional questions.

If you're looking for more flower fun at the farm, save the date and stay tuned for more details coming soon for our Flower Patch U-Pick event on Saturday, June 13th from 10am - 12pm! Flower bouquets are also sold at the Farmers Market and through the Veggie Share Program on a weekly basis. Our flower season typically draws to an end once the true heat of summer sets in, so be sure to take advantage while the blooms are abundant!
