August 27th, 2026

This coming month we are welcoming a new Farm Club cohort to kickoff the Fall season with educational and family fun activities! With plenty of time still to join, mark your calendars for upcoming events including a Fall seeding party on September 5th and a community workday on October 3rd. Upon becoming a member, you will receive a personal farm tour and orientation to the Farm Club space, as well as a one-on-one, guided seeding demonstration in the greenhouse. Please reach out to Farmer Ky at harvestgreen@agmenity.com with any questions about joining the Farm Club!

This week marks our August farm perk pickup of a dozen eggs for Friends of the Farm! In addition to being sold in the weekly Vegetable Share, our farm fresh eggs are exclusively offered to Friends of the Farm as a seasonal offering this month while the chickens are laying an abundance. If you're interested in a low-commitment connection to Village Farm throughout the year, consider joining our Friends of the Farm membership program!

As the busy Fall season approaches, another great hands-on way to be involved at the farm is through our volunteer program! Primary volunteer days are on Tuesday and Thursday morning to help the farmers harvest, wash, and package vegetables. Reach out to harvestgreen@agmenity.com if you are interested in volunteering, and we will begin onboarding in September once temperatures cool down.
