Are you craving a deeper connection to your neighborhood Village Farm but haven't found a way to get plugged in yet? Exclusive to Harvest Green residents only, our new Friends of the Farm membership program is a low commitment option that offers complementary seasonal farm perks and special access to community events happening on the farm. For a low annual membership cost of $10 per month ($120 annually), members will receive invitations to pizza nights, U-pick fig days, and regular seasonal giveaways. Join in May to receive a farm flower bouquet, a box of tomatoes in June, and more farm surprises to come in following months. Once you sign up, you will receive a welcome email and further instructions on how to redeem your farm perks!

This Saturday, May 16th, join us on the farm for a Flower Bouquet Making Workshop from 10am - 11:30am! Participants will explore in detail the whimsical journey of growing flowers and experience the process of designing hand-crafted bouquets. After taking a tour of starting flower seeds in the greenhouse and browsing the flower patch, you can let your creativity run wild as you choose from the farm's abundance of blooms! This is a great activity to do with friends or loved ones, so feel free to share this link to purchase tickets.

It is always a bitter sweet moment when we harvest our last root crops of the season, especially with beets this big! As we head into summer, many cool-season crops like greens and carrots will slowly phase out as we welcome new crops like bush beans, sweet bell peppers, and Asian eggplant. Farmer Nathan is especially excited about the yellow and red bell peppers growing in our high tunnel! Their sweet, juicy crunch makes for a great snack option or saute into any dish for a beautiful pop of color!
