Farm Club Member Spotlight and Our Next Gardening Class

February 8th, 2023

We’d love to introduce you to one of our original Farm Club members, Michael! He loves to grow a mix of vegetables, tropical plants, and medicinal plants in his plot here on the farm and in his home garden. Michael was drawn to gardening because he believes there's an energetic connection between humans and nature, and the garden represents a place for him to not only grow plants but also his mind! His favorite part about being a Farm Club member is connecting with the other members and enjoying the peace he feels when working his plot. If you’re a Harvest Green resident and are curious about joining Farm Club, Michael encourages you to sign up because you’ll learn just as much about yourself as you will gardening. Head here to learn more and sign up for your own plot!

Our next gardening class is coming up on the 26th of this month! Join Farmer Nathan for the next installment in our Seasonal Gardening Series that focuses on warm season plants for spring through early summer. If you’ve been curious about growing your own tomatoes, this is the class for you! We’ll teach you how to plan your home garden space and what to plant for the upcoming season. Plus, you’ll get hands-on seeding practice and plenty of resources to take home to help you in your own garden! This class takes place on Sunday, February 26th from 12-1pm on the farm and is open to the public. You can reserve your spot here.

Now that all of our hens have started laying, we wanted to take the opportunity to share how beautiful their eggs are!
