We have two events coming up this Saturday, July 26th, on the farm: our monthly Farm Tour from 10-11am and the Lifestyle Team’s “Lettuce Slide” event at the Farmers Market from 10am-noon. We recommend swinging by the Farm Tour first as we’ll be highlighting all of the leafy greens and herb varieties that thrive during the summer season and giving out samples of our favorites like Thai basil and roselle greens (a favorite of our goats!). Then, you can head over to the farmers market and cool off on a giant slip-n-slide for the Lettuce Slide event! Frozen in Paradise will be in attendance at the market with plenty of cold treats in addition to our amazing lineup of local vendors. You can reserve your spot for the Farm Tour here and learn more about Lettuce Slide here.

We want to take the opportunity to express our immense gratitude for our longtime volunteer, Melanie! She has been with us for almost 3 years and primarily helps us harvest, bundle, wash, and pack our produce. Her absolute favorite veggies to harvest and eat are tomatoes, cucumbers, potatoes, peppers, and carrots. Melanie’s time on the farm has led to an appreciation for both the labor that goes into farming as well as the access to fresh, local produce. Since volunteering, she has started her own garden and even received the honor of volunteer of the year for the garden club she started at her son’s school! Thank you for all of your hard work, Melanie! If you’re interested in volunteering with us, send us an email at HarvestGreen@Agmenity.com.
