Wild About Summer on May 27th from 10am-1pm
Hosted by the Harvest Green Lifestyle Team, this event is the perfect way to start the summer season! From 10am to 1pm, you can meet a variety of furry and scaly creatures, including friendly farm animals and fascinating reptiles. You'll have the chance to get up close and personal with them, learn about their habitats and behaviors, and maybe even pet them if you're feeling brave! This event is open to the public.
Vendor of the Month
Meet one of our newest vendors, K&M Gourmet Dog Food! Their goal is to bridge the gap in the dog food industry. They are committed to providing dogs with human grade food that can be mixed with kibbles to ensure freshness and added nutrition. If you're a dog owner, make sure to check them out at the market this Saturday!
Veggie of the Month
Cucumbers are back in season! We have three different varieties for you at the Farm Stand: a standard slicer, a small pickling variety, and a miniature snacking variety with smooth skin. Cucumbers are an incredibly refreshing veggie due to their high water content. They are great for adding to salads, burgers, juices, or making a batch of pickles. Our personal favorite is the BCT: a bacon, cucumber, and tomato sandwich! Here are a few other cucumber recipes to lend some culinary inspiration:
