October Farmers Markets
Fall has officially arrived which means we're transitioning back to our standard market hours of 9am-1pm every Saturday.
Here are the remaining market dates for the month of October: Saturday, October 14th, 21st, and 28th from 9am-1pm.
Here's what you can find at the Farm Stand this weekend: Bok Choy, Tatsoi, Tokyo Bekana, Komatsuna, Mustard Greens, Turnip Greens, Arugula, Radish, Okra, Eggplant, Bitter Melon, Korean Melon (limited), Snake Gourd, Peppers (limited), Callaloo, Roselle Leaves, and Basil.

Special Event: Pumpkin Patch Photo-Op on Saturday, October 21st from 9am-1pm
Embrace the fall spirit and take your photo with an assortment of pumpkins and all things fall and farmy at this Farmers Market! This event is open to the public and free of charge. Just remember to bring your own camera!
Featured Vendor: ALT Designs
Meet one of our new vendors, ALT Designs! Created by a husband and wife duo that also happen to be teachers, ALT Designs is a small family business making handmade items like door hangers, decorative canvases, and custom stove covers. All of their items can be personalized and are one of a kind. They encourage you to bring them your ideas, no matter how far out there, so that they can make them a reality. Make sure to check out ALT Designs at the market this month!

Crop of the Month: Radishes
Radishes are typically the first root vegetable we're able to harvest for Fall due to the fact that only take about a month to reach harvesting size! Radishes have a delicious crunch and peppery bite that can be mellowed if they are pickled or cooked. Farmer Nathan loves garnishing tacos with thinly sliced radishes while Farmer Bethany prefers them in a baguette sandwich along with arugula, prosciutto, brie, and quince jam.
