Featured Vendor: ALT Designs
Meet one of our new vendors, ALT Designs! Created by a husband and wife duo that also happen to be teachers, ALT Designs is a small family business making handmade items like door hangers, decorative canvases, and custom stove covers. All of their items can be personalized and are one of a kind. They encourage you to bring them your ideas, no matter how far out there, so that they can make them a reality. Make sure to check out ALT Designs at the market this month!
Crop of the Month: Radishes
Radishes are typically the first root vegetable we're able to harvest for Fall due to the fact that only take about a month to reach harvesting size! Radishes have a delicious crunch and peppery bite that can be mellowed if they are pickled or cooked. Farmer Nathan loves garnishing tacos with thinly sliced radishes while Farmer Bethany prefers them in a baguette sandwich along with arugula, prosciutto, brie, and quince jam.
