Fall Season Kickoff Recap
October 5th, 2023
We had a blast with everyone that came out on Saturday to help us celebrate the arrival of the fall season! It was the perfect way to bid farewell to summer, even though the sun was still out in full force. It was clear from the start that our animals were going to steal the show. They loved being able to interact with everyone, especially when it involved treats!
At our herb seeding station, we were able to share our love of planting seeds. We enjoyed seeing which herb seeds the kiddos picked out to plant and how much they took pride in being able to write their own plant labels! If your kiddo planted and took home seeds, don’t forget to water them! Once the herbs germinate and begin to grow, you can transplant them into a larger pot in your garden.
On our Farm Tour, we got to share an exclusive sneak peek of everything we have growing for the fall season. We were also able to share more about our new caterpillar tunnel project and what types of crops we’ll be growing in it. We get to enjoy the beauty of the farm every day so it’s always exciting to be able to share the space with others!
We sincerely want to thank everyone that came out to join us. If you’re looking for more farm fun this fall, there are several opportunities coming up this month and next! Check out our list below for all of our upcoming farm events.
