Happy Hour Peach Pie
If you are in a pinch for a pie, or simply like quick and easy recipes, this will suit you perfectly. You can have that tasty, homemade look and feel without the hours of labor!
This pie takes 20 minutes to prepare and 50min to bake. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
1 jar of The Jam Lady's White Wine Peach Jam
1 jar of The Jam Lady's Mango Rum Jam
1 pie crust (I used this Butter Flakey Pie Crust from AllRecipes)
Peal fruit if you prefer the pie without skins. Cut peaches into thin slices.
Start layering the peaches on the bottom.
On the second layer, cover any openings until you can not see the crust through the layers.
Once you have used two fruits, pour one jar of jam over the pie.
Slice fruit until the pie is 3/4 of the way full.
Pour the second jar of jam over the top. All fruit slices should be covered with jam.
Top it with whatever style crust you like (cute crust shapes, full crust with slits, lattice, whatever suits your fancy!)
Cover the pie edges with foil and bake for 40-50 minutes Poke the apples with a fork, if they are soft and fall off the fork, the pie is done!
Refrigerate and serve.
